Strawberry Matcha Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 1 serving

  • 1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha (I love the brand Naoki)
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp monkfruit
  • 1/4 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Ice

Instructions

Prepare the strawberry layer:

Blend strawberries with a splash of milk and 1 tsp monk fruituntil smooth.

Whisk the matcha

In a small bowl or cup, whisk 1 tsp matcha with hot water until smooth and frothy.

Assemble the drink

Pour the strawberry mixture in a cup, add ice then add milk.

Top with matcha

Slowly pour the matcha over the top for a layered effect.

Finish

Stir before drinking and adjust sweetness if desired
